Unit 4

Use square roots.
Simplify rational expressions.
Use and apply ratios and proportions.
Use and apply percents.
Multiply rational expressions.
Divide rational expressions.
Add rational expressions.

Unit 5

Use the zero property to solve equations.
Find a common monomial factor in a polynomial.
Factor perfect square trinomials.
Factor difference of two squares trinomials.
Factor trinomials in the form of ax2 + bx + c.
Solve word problems using factoring.
