Solve motion problems using systems.
Solve mixture problems using systems.
Solve various problems using systems.
Use determinants to solve systems.

Unit 9

Find square roots of a number.
Use the square root table.
Simplify square roots.
Add, subtract, multiply, and divide expressions with radicals.
Solve quadratic equations by factoring
Solve equations using square roots.
Solve quadratic equations by completing the square.

Unit 10

Use the quadratic formula to solve quadratic equations.
Use quadratic equations to solve word problems.
Graph functions, particularly quadratic equations.
Describe the characteristics of a quadratic equation.
Find the zero of a quadratic equations.
