The Suspension Room Program was designed to create a more acceptable
educational alternative to the traditional out-of-school suspension.
Creating a room to which students who are suspended (but not a danger to
the rest of the student population) can go to receive targeted, engaging
instruction, is educationally superior to sending them home to empty
houses.
