Unit 2

Add, subtract, multiply, and divide fractions.
Solve, simple linear equations.
Add, subtract, multiply, and divide decimals.
Change fractions to decimals and vice-versa.
Simplify fractions.
Solve problems using a calculator.

Unit 3

Change percents to decimals or fractions and vice-versa.
Use percents.
Use proportions.
Evaluate formulas.
Solve simple algebraic equations.
Evaluate algebraic equations.
Solve problems using a calculator.
Use range, median and mode.
Figure out simple events in probability.
Measure using metric units.
Change between the corresponding metric units.

Unit 4


Represent integers on a number line.
Add and subtract integers on a number line.
Find the opposite (additive inverse) of an integer.
Add, subtract, multiply, and divide integers.
Add, subtract, multiply, and divide rational numbers.
Simplify expressions.
Solve equations.
Solve problems using a calculator.
Find approximations of square roots.
Use the Pythagorean Theorem.
Identify points in a plane.
Identify graphs of inequality.
Use absolute values.
Identify perfect squares.

Unit 5

Solve 1, 2, 3, or 4-step equations.
